Last week, St. Peter’s Episcopal Church in Arlington Virginia celebrated a crowning moment when their new steeple spire was lifted into place. The completed tower marks the Church’s welcoming new entrance and signals that completion of their renovation / addition project is near.
In 2010, the St. Peter’s vestry convened a building committee to pursue a program of facility renovations and expansions necessary to meet the needs for their vibrant and growing congregation. cox graae + spack architects was awarded the commission to expand their Narthex, improve administrative and music space, create a new Parish Hall and Chapel, and dramatically alter the Church’s entrance orientation and arrival experience. Occupancy for the modernized facility is slated for December, 2013.Return to Current News & Events
