cox graae + spack architects designed the renovation of an existing classroom building and a new addition on the historic Maret School campus serving 700 students. This was the final project in the school’s master plan. The existing classroom and cafeteria building was renovated and an addition was constructed to provide a new upper and lower school classrooms, a lower school library, a 350-seat theater, and three art classrooms. The addition is clad in white synthetic stucco and massed to integrate with the white stucco historic mansion and surrounding historic residential context.
