Firm principal and co-founder, Christoffer Graae, will be honored at this year’s National AIA Convention in Chicago for his induction into AIA’s College of Fellows. Chris has been a member of AIA for nearly 35 years, with his membership listed under the organization’s DC Chapter where he is on the Board of Directors.
The Fellowship program was developed to elevate those architects who have made a significant contribution to architecture and society, having achieved a standard of excellence in the profession. Election to fellowship not only recognizes the achievements of architects as individuals, but also their significant contribution to architecture and society on a national level.
The 2014 Jury of Fellows from the American Institute of Architects (AIA) elevated 139 AIA members to its prestigious College of Fellows. Out of a total AIA membership of over 80,000, there are approximately 3,000 members distinguished with this honor.
Chris is the third principal at cox graae + spack architects to receive the prestigious honor after co-founders David Cox was added to the College of Fellows in 1994 and the late Jerrily Kress in 1996. For more about Chris Graae click here.Return to Current News & Events
